Looking for tax or pay calculators?

Tax, pay and employment rules differ from country to country, so Hesapl builds those calculators per country from official sources rather than translating one version. Country editions so far: Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Singapore, India and South Africa in English, Germany, Austria and Switzerland in German, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina in Spanish and Brazil in Portuguese; the Turkish site covers Türkiye.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hesapl free? Is anything I type stored?

Yes, it is free, and no. There is no account and nothing to pay. The numbers you type stay on your device and are not stored.

Can I use metric or imperial units?

Both. The BMI and ideal weight calculators take centimetres and kilograms or feet, inches and pounds, and show results in the units you chose.

Are the calculators for a specific country?

The calculators on this page work the same everywhere: percentages, dates and body measurements. Tax, pay and employment calculators depend on national law, so they are built per country: Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Singapore, India and South Africa each have their own English edition, Germany, Austria and Switzerland have German ones, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina Spanish ones and Brazil a Portuguese one, each with income tax and take-home pay calculators from official sources.

Can I rely on the results?

Each calculator shows its formula, a worked example and its sources, and says when it was last updated. Results are for guidance; for an official matter, check with the relevant authority or a professional.

Why is Hesapl in Turkish and English?

Hesapl started as a Turkish calculator site; the name comes from the Turkish word for “calculate”. The English edition adds the calculators that do not depend on any one country's rules.
