Frequently asked questions
Which year do the calculators use?
Income tax uses the IRAS resident rates for YA 2024 onwards (the rates for income earned in 2025, assessed in YA 2026); CPF uses the rates and the $8,000.00 Ordinary Wage ceiling in force from 1 January 2026; GST is 9%. Each page states the date it was last checked.
Are the results the same as the IRAS and CPF Board calculators?
They use the same published rates. The CPF Board rounds contributions to the nearest dollar and applies graduated rates below $750 a month, and IRAS applies reliefs and any Budget rebate to your actual return, so the official calculators remain the reference for anything you rely on.
Why is there no minimum wage calculator?
Singapore has no single national minimum wage; the Progressive Wage Model sets sector-specific wages. A calculator that printed one figure would mislead, so none is offered.
Is Hesapl free? Is anything I type stored?
Yes, and no. There is no account and nothing to pay. The numbers you type stay on your device and are not stored.
